My oil is being used up too quickly
Is food drained after frying?
Food may not have been drained sufficiently after frying.
Has food been thawed and then re-frozen?
This can cause increased absorption of oil.
Check the thermostat – is the oil overheating?
Fry at the correct temperature - too hot and you’ll shorten the life of your oil, too low and oil will be absorbed into the food, producing soggy, unhealthy results. Please refer to the Prep Frying Guide for the correct frying temperatures.
